What is a Zendesk Help Center theme?

A Zendesk Help Center theme controls how your knowledge base looks and feels to your customers. It includes page templates, stylesheets, JavaScript, and configuration settings. Zendesk provides a default theme, but you can import custom themes for a fully branded support experience.

How do I install a theme?

Download the ZIP file after purchase, then go to your Zendesk Admin Center and navigate to Guide > Customize design > Add theme > Import theme. Upload the ZIP and your new theme will appear in the theme list. From there you can customize settings and publish. Full instructions are available in Zendesk's documentation at support.zendesk.com.

What Zendesk plans support custom themes?

Custom themes work with any Zendesk plan that includes Guide (Help Center). That includes Suite Team, Suite Growth, Suite Professional, and Suite Enterprise plans. If you can access the Customize design section in your Admin Center, you're good to go.

What's included in the download?

Every theme includes all 20 required Zendesk Help Center templates, a fully responsive stylesheet, JavaScript for progressive enhancement, a manifest with configurable settings, translation files, and placeholder assets. It's a complete, production-ready theme ready to import.

Can I customize the colors and fonts?

Yes. Every theme includes a full settings panel accessible from the Zendesk theme editor. You can change brand colors, fonts, logo, hero images, and layout options without touching any code. For deeper customization, you have full access to the source CSS, JavaScript, and templates.

Do I get the source code?

Yes. You receive the complete, unobfuscated source code including all Handlebars templates, CSS, JavaScript, and configuration files. You can modify anything you need.

Can I preview a theme before buying?

Absolutely. Every theme on Zlooks includes a fully interactive preview showing 5 page types: homepage, category page, article page, search results, and request page. Take your time exploring before you buy.

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final. Because our themes are digital products available for immediate download, we don't offer refunds. We encourage you to use the live previews to explore every theme thoroughly before purchasing. If you run into any issues getting your theme set up, reach out to hello@zlooks.com and we'll help you get it working.

Can I use a theme for a client project?

Yes. Each license covers one Zendesk Help Center instance. If you're an agency or consultant purchasing for a client, the license transfers to the client's instance. You'll need a separate license for each client.

Are updates included?

Yes. Your purchase includes updates and bug fixes for the version you purchased. We maintain compatibility with Zendesk platform changes and release patches as needed.

How long does setup take?

Most people go from purchase to live in under 10 minutes. Import the ZIP, update your logo and brand colors in the settings panel, and publish. Deeper customization like editing templates or CSS takes more time, but the theme works great out of the box.
